Terms of Service

Version 1 (draft) — effective 16 July 2026

These terms cover use of the RumiFit Android app, website and store portal, operated by RumiFit ("we", "us"). By using them you agree to these terms. If you are registering a store account on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.

The app

• We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the RumiFit app for planning room layouts. We keep ownership of the software.
• Room plans you create are yours. They live on your device; we claim no rights over them.
• The app's measurements and layouts are a planning aid. Check critical dimensions in the real room before purchasing furniture or commissioning work — we are not liable for a sofa that doesn't fit.

Store subscriptions

• Retail plans are billed per store through Stripe, monthly or annually, with a device cap per plan. Current pricing is shown on the website and the portal's billing page.
• New stores get a free trial; no charge is made until a payment method is added and a plan chosen.
• You can cancel at any time from the billing page. Access continues to the end of the paid period; we do not refund partial periods except where the law requires.
• If a payment fails we retry and notify you; after a grace period, paired devices lose access to catalog and branding until payment is settled.
• We may suspend accounts used to abuse the service (for example attempting to access another store's data or interfering with pairing security).

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to break, probe, or overload the service; don't try to pair devices to a store you don't control; don't misrepresent who you are when contacting us or registering a store.

Availability and changes

The store service depends on network infrastructure and third-party providers, so we don't promise uninterrupted availability. We may change or retire features; if a change materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we'll notify store account holders in advance.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law our liability is limited, for store subscriptions, to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Disputes go first to a polite message — most things are fixable that way.
